Overview:

SupplyValid Pvt Ltd is looking for a Database Analyst to support its technology-driven operations in supply chain management, logistics, and e-auctions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing database systems that power our platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time analytics for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Database Design & Optimization:
• Design and manage database schemas for supply chain, logistics, and e-auction systems.
• Optimize database structures, indexes, and queries to improve performance.
2. Data Integrity & Security:
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive business and transaction data.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations on data privacy and security.
3. Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
• Monitor database performance and resolve slow query issues.
• Set up automated alerts and backup strategies to prevent data loss.
4. Integration & Data Flow Management:
• Manage ETL processes for seamless data migration and integration with third-party systems.
• Work closely with developers to support API integrations for real-time data exchange.
5. Business Intelligence & Reporting:
• Support data analytics and reporting tools for real-time tracking of inventory, stock movement, and transactions.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date reports for management and stakeholders.
6. Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work with software developers, procurement teams, and business analysts to improve database functionality.
• Maintain detailed documentation of database architecture, queries, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server)
• Experience with database management tools (SSMS, pgAdmin, etc.)
• Knowledge of cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud Spanner)
• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL tools, and API integrations
• Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firebase) is a plus
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
• Education & Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in database management, analytics, or software development
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce databases is preferred
• Certifications like Microsoft SQL Server (MCSA), or AWS Database Specialty are a plusRole & responsibilities
