Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary

The role of the Asst. Manager (Supply Chain and Cust Service) is central, as it focuses on all Customer Related functions such as Inquiry Handling, Timely Sales Order management, in-time delivery and maintenance of records through the ERP system i.e. SAP HANA. In this role, the individual needs to prioritise all actions and complaints of the customer on pending deliveries, quotations, and rejections while periodically taking feedback from internal and external team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in terms of arranging in-time quotations and assist team in commercial negotiations for the achievement of sales targets
• Validate and approve Sales orders to ensure Zero defects/returns.
• Keep all customer records updated in HANA for the purpose of timely inquiry handling and sales order management including discounts, terms, Special prices and Coupon rates
• Active participation in the tender and bidding process for high-value clients and conduct a sales-level follow-up
• Measure Customer Service Index by online surveys. Implement Improvement areas, mandated by the management, within the domain to increase the customer satisfaction levels aka CSI.
• Ensure customer complaints are logged (tickets) in CRM and follow up to close them for customer satisfaction. Monitor the same on a daily/ weekly basis.
• Ensure all non-stock and back to back sales orders (items) are procured through the procurement team on a daily basis.
• Review stock requirements for stock items on weekly basis and arrange for quick procurement
• Support in achieving procurement targets set by principals
• Ensure liquidation of dead or slow moving stock to market operators and customers if enquiries are received for them
• Mentor and conduct performance reviews of team at regular intervals and providing the results/ feedback to the manager for review
• To work closely with the Sales, Service, Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement team for better customer satisfaction, delivery, and availability of products
• Conduct self-performance reviews and aim at exceeding targets and making plans to achieve gaps
• Log daily activity and report any difficulties to the manager
• Provide MIS reports on weekly and monthly basis
