The candidate will oversee Internal Controls, ERP Systems, Cost Management, and process automation to enhance financial efficiency and ensure statutory compliance for an NBFC.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting (RBI & SEBI Compliances) Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with RBI and SEBI regulations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  
• IND-AS/IFRS Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with IND-AS/IFRS standards, maintaining transparency and consistency in financial reporting.
  
• Internal Controls Establish, monitor, and enhance internal control mechanisms to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure operational efficiency.
  
• Audit & Risk Management Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and risk management frameworks to mitigate financial risks.
  
• Taxation (Direct & Indirect) Oversee direct and indirect tax planning, compliance, and filing, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and optimizing tax benefits.
  
• Budgeting & Forecasting Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights for strategic decision-making and cost control.
  
• Regulatory Reporting (RBI Returns, NBFC Regulations) Ensure timely and accurate submission of RBI returns and compliance with NBFC regulatory requirements.
  
• ERP Systems Implement, manage, and optimize ERP systems to enhance financial operations, reporting, and data accuracy.
  
• Cost Management – Monitor and control costs across business functions, implementing cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.
  
• Process Automation – Drive automation initiatives in financial processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and operational scalability.
  
• Statutory Compliance – Ensure adherence to all financial and statutory regulations, coordinating with regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and avoid penalties.
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting & must have prior experience working in a NBFC.
  
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional certification, demonstrating expertise in financial management and accounting principles.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and risk management within the financial services industry.
  
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a strong understanding of current technology trends impacting the finance sector.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior management to drive organizational success and achieve strategic objectives.
