Job Title: Head of Marketing (E-Commerce - Digital)

About the Role:
We are looking for a results-oriented and experienced Head of Marketing to lead our growth marketing efforts across both digital and offline channels. You will play a key role in driving user acquisition, boosting customer retention, and building a strong brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of both traditional and digital marketing practices, with a proven track record of implementing multi-channel campaigns for measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Growth Strategy Development: Define and lead a holistic marketing strategy with a clear focus on driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention, ensuring DAU growth.
- Budget & ROI Management: Manage the marketing budget with a focus on optimizing spend to ensure maximum ROI across all campaigns.
- Digital Marketing Leadership: Spearhead our digital marketing efforts (SEO/SEM, paid advertising, content marketing, social media, influencer marketing) to generate leads and enhance conversion rates.
- Performance Marketing & Analytics: Drive data-driven decision-making by using analytics and KPIs to track campaign performance, iterating constantly for improvements.
- Offline & Regional Campaigns: Lead offline campaigns (outdoor, print, radio, community outreach), ensuring they are aligned with our overall brand message and focus on local market penetration.
- Synergy Across Channels: Build synergy between offline and digital marketing efforts to create unified customer journeys across touchpoints.
- Brand Positioning: Shape and evolve the Annachy brand, ensuring that it resonates with our target audience both locally and beyond.
- Team Development & Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and growth. Work with product, tech and customer service teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives.
- Vendor & Partnership Management: Oversee relationships with external agencies, media partners, and influencers, ensuring successful execution of marketing plans.
- Customer Insights & Market Research: Leverage market research and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and refine messaging to meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a senior marketing role within the e-commerce or retail sector, with a focus on growth marketing.
- Extensive experience in leading both digital and offline marketing strategies, with a proven ability to scale user acquisition.
- Proficiency in using performance marketing tools, data analytics platforms, and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns with a focus on maximizing customer lifetime value.
- Proven expertise in budget management and optimizing marketing spend
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a marketing team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and nurture external and internal relationships.
Preferred:
- Good understanding of the Tamil Nadu market, with experience tailoring campaigns to local consumer behaviour and preferences.
- Hands-on experience working in e-commerce platforms or B2C marketplaces.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and loyalty programs to enhance customer retention.
