Sunware Technologies - Technical Team Lead - PHP/Java (10-12 yrs)

Who you are :

An expert in .Net /Java /PHP technologies who can coordinate and drive the successful
migration of on-premises applications to AWS, ensuring stability, security, and adherence to best practices, while maintaining clear documentation and smooth communication between stakeholders. The leader must proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact the project.

Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Foresight :

- Lead the technical aspects of the migration, making quick decisions to unblock issues and proactively identify potential challenges before they escalate.

- Provide deep technical expertise in .NET (Core and Framework), Java, PHP, and cloud technologies.

- Hands-on involvement in troubleshooting complex issues related to connectivity, certificates, security, and authentication.

- Able to guide teams to follow the technical best practices for development, security, and operations.

- Able to identify gaps in existing system setup, provide solutions, and drive their
implementation.

Coordination and Communication :

- Coordinate between Dev, QA, and Ops teams, ensuring smooth workflows.

- Act as the single point of contact for critical technical issues and actively communicate potential roadblocks.

- Maintain proactive and timely communication with all stakeholders on the progress of migration.

- Collaborate with the Architect, other team leads, and the Technical Project Manager (TPM) to proactively resolve complex issues and dependencies.

Documentation and Process :

- Own the "Resolution Log" process, ensuring all issues and solutions are documented thoroughly in real-time and follow a prescribed format.

- Enforce the "Every Fix is Documented" policy to ensure there is traceability to all fixes implemented.

- Continuously refine documentation processes to meet project requirements.

Problem Solving :

- Identify and resolve root cause issues related to application configuration, certificate issues, interconnectivity challenges, and permission issues.

- Work closely with other technical stakeholders to identify the dependencies and take ownership to resolve them with quick turn around time.

Continuous Improvement :

- Identify and improve the migration processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Track the progress of the migration in detail and report on the project milestones on a regular basis. Contribute to the strategy for the full migration to AWS.

Technical Skills :

- Expert-level knowledge of .NET Framework (3.1 to latest versions) and .NET Core.

- Strong proficiency in Java, PHP, and related web technologies.

- Deep understanding of IIS and Tomcat configuration.

- Solid Understanding of Cloud Architecture, Security, and Networking

- Extensive experience with AWS (EC2, NLB, Route 53, Secret Manager, Security Groups, etc.)

- Understanding of WCF, mTLS, SSL/TLS, and certificate management (including client certs).

- Knowledge of Azure Key Vault and integration with AWS. Experience with Active Directory, both Windows and Linux environments (including ADintegrated SQL Server authentication).
