Roles & Responsiblities

Service Operations Management

• Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and timely delivery of medical equipment .
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the service department to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Monitor and manage the performance of field service engineers and technical teams.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards during equipment servicing.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels for parts, accessories, and refurbished equipment.
• Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of equipment and spare parts to meet operational requirements.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for timely ordering and restocking of critical components.
• Track inventory movement and maintain accurate records in the inventory management system.

Operational Efficiency

• Plan and allocate resources to meet customer service commitments and deadlines.
• Implement strategies to minimize equipment downtime and improve turnaround times.
• Monitor operational KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.

Customer Relationship Management

• Liaise with customers to understand their service requirements and provide regular updates.
• Ensure prompt resolution of service-related issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex service matters.

Team Leadership

• Train, mentor, and supervise service team members to enhance their technical and operational skills.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support career development initiatives for team members.
• Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment within the operations team.

Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams

• Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless post-sales service and support.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain equipment performance standards.
• Coordinate with the logistics team for smooth transportation and delivery of equipment.

Budgeting and Cost Management

• Prepare and manage budgets for service operations, inventory, and warehousing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
• Monitor expenses and ensure operations are conducted within the allocated budget.

Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive service logs and inventory records.
• Prepare periodic reports on operational performance and present insights to management.
• Ensure proper documentation for all refurbished equipment, including service histories and compliance certifications.
