Job Description:
As a Naval Architect - Designing, you will play a pivotal role in our design team, contributing to the development of marine boats and structures. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed designs and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. Working closely with other naval architects, engineers, and stakeholders, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed boat designs and specifications based on new project requirements
- Conduct structural and hydrodynamic analysis to ensure design integrity and performance
- Collaborate with project teams to meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards
- Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and reports
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise and recommendations
- Utilize software and other tools to create and modify designs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and technological advancements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of naval architecture or marine design experience
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Strong knowledge of naval architecture principles, regulations, and industry standards
- Familiarity with structural and hydrodynamic analysis techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
