Suncore is looking for a project engineering manager to complete engineering and construction projects by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project. The manager supervises all development and implementation of a project. He or she also oversees facility upgrades and is actively involved in any other project-related work.
Skills : 1. Knowledge in civil engineering principles, practices and methods, environmental regulations, engineering project management methods, workplace safety 2. Knowledge of budgeting, employee supervision and personnel management. 3. A project engineer must be flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. 4. Competent in handling simultaneously occurring tasks and smaller projects. 5. Have excellent written and oral communication skills. 6. Conversation skills in at least one other foreign language, most commonly Spanish.
Key roles : 1. Reviews project plans and proposals, then works with management to develop project objectives. 2. Identifies project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project. 3. Calculates time frames and sequences the stages of the project. 4. Prepares and distributes a description and timeline of the project. 5. Studies product design, customer requirements performance standards, then determines project specifications. 6. Presents cost estimates and performance standards. 7. Conducts tests assuring safe and satisfactory product performance.
