We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales & Service Engineer to join our team
The Sales & Service Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth and providing technical support to our clients
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships
Responsibilities:Identify and target potential clients and markets to generate new business opportunities
Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, actively pursuing leads and converting them into customers
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that align with our products and services
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing as needed
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services to customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing their inquiries and providing ongoing support
Provide technical expertise and support to clients, resolving technical issues and answering questions about products
Conduct on-site visits to customer locations for consultations, product installations, and service demonstrations
Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to management
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our products and services
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns to drive sales
Continuously assess and improve the customer experience and satisfaction
Participate in product development discussions by providing customer feedback and insights
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
Technical background is preferred
Proven experience in technical sales, field service, or a related role
Strong understanding of technical products, systems, and solutions
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales tracking tools
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs
Willingness to travel to customer locations as required
Preferred:Experience in industries such as manufacturing, industrial equipment, technology, or engineering services
Familiarity with consultative selling techniques
Previous experience in a combined sales and technical support role
