Role & responsibilities

As a Purchasing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process. You will work closely with various teams, including manufacturing, and quality, to ensure that materials and components are sourced in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating supplier performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining accurate purchasing records.

Preferred candidate profile

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, including pricing and payment terms
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate purchase records and update procurement database
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements and forecast demand
