Undertake responsibility of pump selection and mechanical design feasibilities, pre-calculations & engineering specifications for retrofit solutions
Independently work and respond to assigned open Global Field Engineering Request (GFER) associated with technical support / Tender / Enquiry activities
Review customer technical specifications provide comments/exceptions, technical know-how as required to ensure proposals are technically fit for the purpose including identifying and documenting areas of technical risks and level of design review associated with the projects.
Provide estimated engineering man-hours to enable completion of project cost estimation
Provide an engineering presence when required on sales visits, at bid clarification and client kick off meetings.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Work experience of 3 years
Pump selection and mechanical design knowledge, CAD
Ability to act independently, flexibility and ability to adapt,
Commercial acumen and Attention to details and design from first principles
Influencing and Persuasion skills, Technical writing, MS office expertise
