Accounts Payable Executive

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Accounts Payable Executive to join our finance team in Gurugram. This role involves managing vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with GST and TDS regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP, and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review vendor invoices to ensure compliance with GST and TDS requirements.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and verify accuracy.
• Generate and manage Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for inventory tracking.
• Book accounts payable invoices in SAP while maintaining precision and timeliness.
• Ensure correct journal entries in SAP for all transactions.
• Conduct vendor account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com).
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a CA firm.
• Proficiency in SAP and sound knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong understanding of GST and TDS compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with a focus on data handling and reporting.
