Job Description
- Day-to-day management of technical team members on projects you are responsible for, ensuring they understand their tasks and deliver high-quality, pixel-perfect, user-centered digital products.
- Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code to create the visual elements of the application.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the project requirements and bridge the gap between digital design and technical implementation.
- Work closely with the Delivery/PM team to create accurate project plans, manage project risks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Take an active role on both sides and define how the application looks as well as how it works.
- Be a point of escalation and resolution for project delivery issues.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use .
- Establish and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and testing procedures to maintain code quality and reliability.
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and product quality.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the development of interactive websites that utilise modern HTML, JavaScript, and CSS frameworks .
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Architect, design, and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable frontend solutions using React JS and related technologies.
- Good knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular or Vue.JS.
- Good knowledge of (HTML5, CSS 3, SCSS, Bootstrap 3/4).
- Highly knowledgeable and versed in various front-end libraries and a passion for creating more in HTML.
- Good understanding of modern CMS platforms and how to create modular components that work within them.
- Working knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git .
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
- Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
