Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tekla Senior Modeler Senior Checker to join our team in Coimbatore

This is a full-time, senior-level position requiring 7 to 10 years of experience in Structural Steel Detailing

The ideal candidate will be adept in using Tekla Structures and possess robust expertise in structural engineering

This role demands a deep understanding of steel structures, detailing, and the ability to oversee and manage detailed models and drawings effectively.

Qualifications And Skills

Proficiency in Tekla Structures for creating detailed models and drawings, ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications (Mandatory skill).

Strong foundation in Structural Engineering principles applicable to the design and analysis of steel structures (Mandatory skill).

Extensive experience in Steel Detailing, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to industry standards (Mandatory skill).

Strong project management skills to effectively oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring completion within set deadlines.

Problem-solving abilities to address challenges that arise during project phases, ensuring solutions align with client objectives and standards.

Roles And Responsibilities

Develop and review detailed 3D models for structural steel projects using Tekla Structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.

Oversee the preparation of detailed fabrication and erection drawings, ensuring they meet international standards and client requirements.

Collaborate with project stakeholders to coordinate and communicate all aspects of the model development and drawing review process.

Perform quality checks on completed models and drawings, ensuring any discrepancies are identified and corrected promptly.

Guide and mentor junior modelers and checkers, sharing expertise and fostering a climate of continuous learning and improvement.

Manage project timelines and resources effectively, ensuring high-quality delivery within agreed deadlines.

Ensure all work complies with relevant international building codes and standards, maintaining the integrity and safety of structures.

Act as a primary technical resource for project teams, providing expertise in steel detailing and structural modeling methodologies.
