Stride Ventures - Associate - Legal (2-4 yrs)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Legal to join our the legal team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in working on debt transactions across geographies, PE/VC, managing stake holders including but not limited to portfolio companies, but also investors / limited partners, and other ancillary fund related matters and management of regulatory authorities and numerous other complex agreements and contracts. Experience working on both the equity and debt sides is essential. Key Responsibilities:

Legal Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements concerning funds, contracts, and corporate governance.

- Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, MoUs, and other legal documents.

Documentation & Contracts:

- Manage and maintain all legal documentation and records systematically.

- Collaborate with internal teams to address legal queries and mitigate risks.

Equity and Debt Transactions:

- Provide legal support and expertise for transactions on both equity and debt sides.

- Assist in structuring agreements and ensuring compliance with relevant legal frameworks.

Advisory Support:

- Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on various business matters.

- Assist in structuring legal frameworks and drafting policy guidelines.

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and other third parties as required.

- Work closely with the finance and compliance teams to ensure seamless legal processes.

Requirements:

- Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) / LLM from a recognized institution.

- Experience: 2-4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in with law firms having focus on PE/VC practice, or financial startups.

Skillset:

- Expertise in handling fund-related legal compliance.

- Strong knowledge of NDA drafting and legal documentation.

- Proven experience working on both equity and debt-related transactions.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality.

- In depth understanding of how legal issues effect business

- Ability to develop legal strategies and objectives, excellent judgment and analytical skills.
