About the Position

Strand is looking for a Project Manager to join our team. The qualified candidate will facilitate content management and operations and thus drive content marketing initiatives in different avenues - conference engagement, website, and social media.

The critical goals of the US commercial team at Strand are identifying new leads, pitching products and services, engaging with new clients, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

The role will report to the Content Lead of the Business Development US commercial team headed by the VP of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the execution of deliverables, based on the content calendar, from the content team and internal project teams.
• Responsible for end-to-end execution of content and logistics associated with conferences - abstract submissions, poster presentations, slide decks, and physical content.
• Consult with Sales and Project teams to organize promotional activities such as conference booth events, webinars, talks, etc.
• Responsible for briefing the team leads and/or Project POCs about required deliverables and consistently following up.
• Develop timelines and coordinate material transfer between Strand teams and the Design firm while strictly adhering to internal and external deadlines.
• Drive weekly tracking of deliverables from Design.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate / Postgraduate degree in Management/Life Sciences/Bioinformatics
• 2-3 years of post-graduate experience in project management and operations
• Proven ability to manage complex projects while leveraging effective communication skills a high attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Additional qualifications such as PMP certification and/or an MBA
• Experience working in medical writing/scientific communications
• Experience with working with cross-cultural teams and navigating multiple time zones (PST/IST)
