Store Incharge - MEP

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Store Incharge - MEP to join our team and oversee the management of our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) inventory and supplies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all materials are stored systematically and efficiently, maintaining adequate stock levels to meet operational needs. As the Store Incharge, you will play a crucial role in supporting project site operations by coordinating the procurement, receipt, storage, and distribution of MEP materials and tools. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and participate in periodic audits to ensure accountability and compliance with company policies. Your strong attention to detail and understanding of MEP components will be essential in minimizing wastage and optimizing inventory turnover. Collaboration with various departments such as procurement, logistics, and project management will be key to your success in this position. Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the MEP store operations, ensuring efficient inventory management.
• Coordinate the procurement and ordering of MEP materials according to project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring all transactions are documented.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and prepare reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and wastage.
• Ensure proper storage conditions and organization of MEP materials to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to plan for material needs and deliveries.
• Train and supervise store staff in best practices for inventory handling and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in MEP or related fields.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with MEP components and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions.
