Key skills for the job
1. Job Purpose-
Coordinating and optimizing various logistics operations, including order release, inventory management, transportation, and warehouse activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout our supply chain.
2. Principal Accountabilities:
1. Plan, schedule, and manage issue of raw material against orders, ensuring on-time delivery
2. Oversee inventory movement and ensure high level of stock accuracy
3. Implement and maintain effective warehouse management systems to streamline processes and reduce errors.
4. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and warehousing activities viz Slow-moving materials, inventory mismatch, GRN lead time etc
5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as Customer Service, Sales, Procurement and Manufacturing, to ensure a seamless supply chain.
6. Ensure proper documentation and compliance for inland and export shipments
7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
