Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Must be Graduate in Commerce/Accounting Finance or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. Post Graduate in Commerce /MBA in Finance with relevant NISM Certification preferred.

Work Experience

Candidate must have minimum of 3 year experience in Fund Accounting services specifically in Mutual Fund/Insurance/AIF industry.

Age

Must not exceed 36 years as on Job Application Date

Job Responsibilities

The candidate should be able to create various masters which are required for day today operational activities. These includes Asset Types, Industry, Sector, Issuer, Issuer Types etc.

The candidate should be able to create security masters for Equity and Non-Equity securities independently based on applicable features.The candidate has to account daily transactions for equity and non-equity through upload modules and at the end of day ensure that all the transactions has been accounted.

The candidate has to review security ratings periodically and update the system in Fund Accounting system.

Modification of security redemption schedules in case of debt securities as and when there is restructuring for payment of interest/redemption amount.

Settlement of transactions on daily basis.

Tracking corporate actions through NSE/BSE and recording the same on FA system.

Accounting company receipts for monetary as well as non-monetary benefits like dividend receipts, bonus shares receipt etc.

Updating day to day equity/debt prices in system and ensuring that correct file is uploaded in system.

Passing daily units subscription/redemption entries and reconciling daily outstanding units with RTA books of account.

Running daily NAV projection for schemes and ensuring that all the NAV components have been considered before releasing NAV Reports to the clients.

Ensuring that there is no negative bank balance at scheme level.Once, the NAV confirmation mails are received from the clients, next day morning doing the End of the Day process to roll over the system on current day.

Also, the candidate has to carry out daily bank and stock reconciliation.

Regular reporting to the clients based on SEBI/Client requirements.

Required Skill Sets

Should have basic knowledge of scheme NAV calculation.

Candidate should be able to pass basic accounting entries manually in FA system.

Candidate should have expertise in MS-Office especially in MS-Excel and should be able to do basic financial calculations like Yield, Modified Duration, Macaulay Duration, Cash flow of Security etc.
