Role Purpose: Specialists in a particular sphere of technology. Support adoption and implementation of newer technology through their valuable technical knowledge or practical experience Key Accountabilities: Expertise in Material Science/ LAN Cable/Fiber Optic Cable/Connectivity B.Tech/M.Tech with 8-12 years experience Preferred Experience and Qualification:

Support translation of customer pain points and expectations into technical requirements and prepares plans to address them appropriately

Work with the sales and pre-sales team to showcase the organizational capabilities in technology

Provide recommendations/ suggestions to seamlessly deliver application engineering solutions in Sterlite Tech to increase effectiveness and efficiency of solutions

Support the Technology Unit Head to visualize and implement new technology

Identify and report technical roadblocks in implementation or adoption

Stays abreast of the latest technological advances in his own field/sphere and initiates plans to implement the same at Sterlite

Responsible for propagating a culture of good manufacturing practices, driving values of Sterlite along with continuous improvement

Responsible for mentoring and coaching the reporting staff and other employees

JD:

The candidate will be responsible for integration of SAE Level 2, 3 automated driving features, AUTOSAR, incorporating operating system and ECU specific software. The primary duties will include development of base level software layers, integration with functional safety principles, configuring Autosar layers, Integrate middleware stacks. The candidate will be responsible for defining the BSW-SW architecture. The candidate is the contact person for the software architect for BSW related software architecture topics, refines the requirements for the BSW down to the software component level, coordinates the requirement with the affected BSW software developers. The candidate supports the analysis of software bugs and integration issues.

The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of modern safety critical electronic control units embedded software development and possess an interest in state-of-the-art automated driving compute platforms and emerging computational technologies.

BSW Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related Engineering field

Must have excellent hands on experience in C++, OOPS concepts, Multithreading

8+ years of embedded software development experience in C++/Python programming languages, UML based design experience.

Proven experience as an Embedded System Architect, Embedded Systems Engineer, or similar role.

Support software architecture traceability to input requirements.

Experience with Board Bringup and Integrating Bootloaders , OS/OSEK/RTOS and BSP development , Autosar stack integration(Prefered)

Knowledge and experience with UART,I2C, SPI, Ethernet communications protocols

Knowledge/Experience in Adaptive AUTOSAR Architecture.

Experience with SW integration/configuration and Project management tools (e.g. Emulators, Debuggers, DaVinci, CANoe/CANalyzer, GIT, Confluence, etc)

Experience with working on Building and Configuring RTOS/OS such as QNX/Linux

Good working experience in multicore platforms, Performance Soc s.
