Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

1) Should have a sound knowledge of the Industrial / municipal Water
Treatment and Wastewater treatment domain to spot business opportunities and
develop leads and convert them into Projects.

2) Should be experienced in approaching Municipal bodies, Corporates,
Consultants and EPC Companies

3) Create a good deal flow to choose good Projects

4) Should have good presentation and inter-personal skills

5) Should be able to conduct extensive market research / Tender Tracking /
Opportunity search - Experience in securing EPC & DBFOT and O & M projects

6) Develop review mechanism, MIS, review calendar

7) Interface with Tendering / Proposals / Estimation Team on cost estimation
and budget - and take decisions on Pricing / Bid Price

8) Vendor development and vendor management

9) Negotiating the commercial documents with counterparts

10) Ability to develop Strategic Partnerships  - JV's and Consortium
Agreements

11) Maintain good relations with customers, statutory organizations like
CPCB, State PCB's, Nodal Energy Agencies, etc.

12) Provide comprehensive technical and commercial leadership on water and
wastewater project development, acquisitions, and investment.

13) Develop a deep understanding of the water market, regulatory and
legislative environment, project delivery alternatives, and private sector
participation in water & wastewater segment.  Translate this understanding
into a growth framework with clear direction and flexibility.

14) Build a strong business development team by determining resource needs,
recruiting for fit, providing motivation and leadership, and managing
performance.

Preferred candidate profile

1) Should have experience into Project sales in waste water industry.
