Role & responsibilities

1. Negotiating with suppliers for best rates and transit times

2. Coordinating the planning, loading, building and routing of loads efficiently to meet targets and ensure cost effectiveness while understanding resource capacity and time constraints.

3. Enforce and adhere to a strict delivery slot system with both internal and external deliveries.

4. Preparing and delivering daily delivery schedules to the arrivals department and constantly updating bookings on our internal transport log.

5. Liaise with external delivery partners daily to ensure all deliveries are made on time and

6.Implementing a supplier relationship management regime for key suppliers, developing appropriate metrics, to increase levels of engagement, encourage innovation and deliver win-win results.

7.Maintaining an approved vendor list; managing a robust supplier onboarding process to be implemented with the required due diligence

8.Working closely with approved sub-contract delivery companies where required. Integral to this process is the confirmation of sub-contracted loads, and the chasing of ETA, POCs and PODs once delivery has been completed.

Preferred candidate profile

1) Candidate should have experience in Vehicle Recycling domain.

2) Should have good network with Vehicle towing vendors.

3) Able to manage local drivers.
