Key Responsibilities:
1.Commercial Finance:
- Oversee vendor & customer reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage relationships with key customers and suppliers to optimize financial terms and conditions.
2.Business Finance:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function to support business growth and decision-making.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team based on market trends and business performance.
- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to the board of directors and investors.
- Prepare various MIS reports and submit them to top management.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial and operational performance.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Prepare the annual operating plan, forecast, and new business plan at regular intervals.
- Support in closing actual financials of digital brands and analysing exceptional hits/gains in COGS of various brands.
3.Planning & Accounts Closing:
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare working capital reports (actuals, monthly forecast, and budgeted).
4.Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements ,including direct and indirect taxation (GST, VAT, income tax etc).
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Oversee the timely filing of tax returns and payments and manage tax audits and assessments.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
- Monitor and review financial processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of financial data to ensure accuracy.
- Provide reports, data, or explanations to various internal audit teams as needed.
- Ensure masters are updated when new products or brands are launched.
- Prepare multiple audit schedules during quarter closing and additional schedules during year-end closing.
- Support in payments to vendors and ensure MSME compliances.
- Assist in submitting export documents to banks and ensure smooth banking activities.
