SAP GTS Consultant

Responsibilities:

Ensure customer satisfaction through proper solution design delivery, applications life cycle

management and service performance monitoring while maintaining necessary internal (process,

security) and external (GxP, GDPR, license) compliance.

Secure minimal business disruption on application go live based on proper design and formal project

hand-over process.

• 6 years of SAP GTS application experience
• 4 years of working in international environment

Authorities Skills & Competencies:

• Good skills due to the interaction of GTS with different streams
• Expertise in Compliance, Customs and Risk Management
• Basic knowledge in SD, LE, MM-PUR, EWM, TM
• Basic knowledge in EDI and IDocs

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP GTS Consultant with experience in both ECC and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SAP Global Trade Services, strong integration skills, and the ability to guide our organization through the migration to S/4HANA. This role requires a deep understanding of trade compliance processes, customs management, and export/import processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP GTS Implementation & Support:
• Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP GTS solutions in both ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Configure SAP GTS modules, including
• Compliance Management,
• Customs Management, and
• Risk Management.
• Compliance & Regulatory Support:
• Stay updated on global trade regulations and ensure the SAP GTS system is configured to support compliance.
• Provide guidance on export/import processes, trade compliance, and risk management.
• Process Improvement:
• Analyze and optimize existing global trade processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Identify areas for automation within SAP GTS to reduce manual processes and errors.
• Integration & Migration:
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP GTS and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) as well as external systems.
• Participate in the migration of SAP GTS from ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Provide expertise in data migration, system conversion, and landscape transformation.
• Training & Documentation:
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation related to SAP GTS processes and configurations.
• Support & Troubleshooting:
• Provide day-to-day support for SAP GTS users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability.
• Work with SAP OSS (Online Service System) to resolve complex issues and apply SAP Notes as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP GTS, with a strong background in both ECC and S/4HANA.
• Proven experience with SAP GTS module configuration and integration.
• Strong understanding of global trade processes, including customs management, compliance, and export/import procedures.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• SAP GTS certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other SAP modules like SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and FI (Financial Accounting).
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and other S/4HANA-specific tools.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
• Project management experience, especially in SAP implementation projects.
