Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with 3-6 years of experience in the Building Materials industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing key customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of our business in the construction and building materials sector. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of building materials, a strong sales background, and the ability to work independently while being part of a larger team.


Looking for Field sales candidate with experience into Construction Steel / Building Materials Industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the building materials market. Build and maintain a solid client base by prospecting and cold-calling potential customers.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish long-term relationships with key clients (contractors, architects, builders, etc.) and offer expert advice on building materials, products, and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest building material products and trends. Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers based on their needs.
  • Sales Strategy & Reporting: Create sales plans, set targets, and track performance. Provide regular updates to the sales manager on sales targets, forecasts, and competitive activities.
  • Negotiations & Pricing: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to close sales. Ensure the best value for both the company and the client.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demand to optimize sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Customer Support: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Sales Presentations & Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for clients. Effectively communicate the benefits and value propositions of our products.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:


  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in sales, preferably within the building materials, construction, or related industry.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field. A technical background is an added advantage.

  • Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of building materials such as cement, concrete, tiles, insulation materials, steel, wood, etc.

  • Sales Skills: Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to present ideas and concepts clearly to clients.

  • Customer-Oriented: Focused on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to understand technical details of the products and explain them to customers in simple terms.
