Position Title: Steel Detailer
Location: Sector 62, Noida

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Detailer to join our team at Structures Online. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in steel detailing, with a strong understanding of construction drawings, structural steel design, and fabrication processes. As a Steel Detailer, you will work closely with engineers and project managers to produce detailed drawings for steel structures, ensuring accuracy, compliance with AISC standards, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for steel structures based on engineering and architectural plans.
• Prepare detailed layout plans, drawings, and material lists for steel members, connections, and assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve any design or technical issues.
• Review and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure clarity and compliance with project requirements.
• Work with project managers to ensure the timely delivery of steel detailing work.
• Coordinate with fabricators and contractors to address any field issues that arise.
• Maintain organized records of all detailing work, including revisions and changes.
• Ensure all detailing work adheres to relevant building codes, safety standards, and quality control processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Steel Detailer
• Proficiency in steel detailing software (e.g., Tekla Structures,).
• Strong understanding of steel structures, welding symbols, and connection details.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering, architectural, and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes (AISC)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D modeling software and BIM.
• Experience with GA Drawings/ Erection Drawings
• Familiarity with project management tools or software.
• Knowledge of structural design concepts and principles.
