Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Snow Software Technical Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Snow Software, including its implementation, customization, and integration into large-scale IT environments.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions that optimize software asset management (SAM) processes, ensuring compliance, reducing costs, and enhancing overall software lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure and implement Snow Software solutions tailored to meet business requirements.
- Develop and manage integration solutions between Snow Software and other IT systems (e.g, CMDBs, SCCM, ServiceNow).
- Automate software discovery, license management, and compliance reporting processes using Snow Automation Platform or other scripting tools.
- Generate reports for software license compliance, usage statistics, and cost optimization.
- Analyze trends and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Snow Software's performance, integration, and functionality.
- Work closely with IT teams, software asset managers, procurement, and vendor management to ensure the smooth operation of the SAM program.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams regarding the use of Snow Software.
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Snow Software (Snow License Manager, Snow Inventory, Snow Automation Platform, etc.
- Strong understanding of software asset management (SAM) principles, including software licensing models, compliance, and optimization.
- Proficiency in scripting (eg, PowerShell, Python) to automate SAM processes.
- Experience integrating Snow Software with third-party tools like SCCM, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with database systems such as S- L for querying and reporting.
- Ability to analyze large sets of software data and provide actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certifications in Snow Software, ITIL, or SAM-related fields.
- Experience managing software assets in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with managing relationships with software vendors and negotiating licensing agreements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
