Javascript Developer - Web Apps (2-4 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate JavaScript Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using JavaScript and related technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, experience with modern frameworks and libraries, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

You will collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative and robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Development :

- Develop and implement new features and functionalities for web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Collaborate with other developers to design and implement APIs and integrate with backend systems.

- Build reusable components and libraries for future use.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.

Problem Solving & Debugging :

- Identify and troubleshoot issues in existing code.

- Debug and resolve browser compatibility issues.

- Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and functionality.

- Participate in testing and quality assurance processes.

- Adhere to coding standards and best practices.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with designers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

- Participate in agile development processes.

Continuous Learning :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in JavaScript development.

- Continuously learn and improve your skills.

- Contribute to the team's knowledge sharing efforts.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (i.e., data types, control flow, functions, closures, prototypes).

- Proficiency in HTML and CSS.

- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (i.e., React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js).

- Specify which frameworks are required or preferred.

- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and AJAX.

- Experience with version control systems (i.e., Git).

- Familiarity with testing frameworks (i.e., Jest, Mocha, Cypress).

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with [TypeScript, Webpack, Babel, GraphQL].

- Knowledge of UI/UX principles.
