We are looking for a WordPress developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
Responsibilities
Developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins to create dynamic, responsive websites.
Collaborating with designers to ensure that websites are optimized for user experience and visual appeal.
Ensuring that websites are optimized for search engine visibility and that they adhere to best practices for on-page SEO.
Troubleshooting and resolving website issues, including server and database errors.
Maintaining website security, including installing and configuring security plugins and ensuring that all software is up-to-date.
Integrating websites with third-party platforms, such as social media and email marketing tools.
Conducting website performance testing and optimization to ensure fast load times and smooth user experience.
Staying up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies, including WordPress updates and best practices.
Requirements
Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
Expert in Woo Commerce Custom Development With Plugins.
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
Must have a good understanding of browser compatibility issues.
Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
Understanding client requirements and functional specifications.
Ability to work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and other team members.
