About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer with a strong background in Cloud Sales, IT Sales, and EdTech Sales to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 4 - 5 years of experience in technology-driven sales, demonstrating expertise in selling IT solutions, cloud services, or educational technology products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of cloud solutions, IT products, and EdTech offerings to enterprise and institutional clients.
  • Understand customer pain points and provide tailored technical solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Work closely with the pre-sales and technical teams to deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CIOs, IT heads, and educational institutions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the management team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4 - 5 years of proven experience in Cloud Sales, IT Sales, or EdTech Sales.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, SaaS, and IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience in selling B2B technology solutions to corporate and educational clients.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and data analytics for sales tracking.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

Good to Have

  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud sales.
  • Understanding of LMS (Learning Management Systems) and EdTech platforms.
  • Familiarity with government or institutional sales in the education sector.
