Senior Bridge Cad Designer

Key Accountabilities:

• Knowledge of detailing standards for highway bridges, river bridges, railway bridges & pedestrian bridges.
• Knowledge of preparing detail sheets for concrete and steel bridges.
• Ability and interest in leading small drafting team(s).
• Completing assigned tasks on agreed time, quality, and budget.
• Responsible for checking own work and ensuring compliance with standards set in the project and adhering to company's quality procedures.
• Mentoring and supporting the development of technicians.

Person Specifications:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering. Or I.T.I. draftsman.
• Minimum experience of 10 years in preparing bridge plans, entire drawings set for bridge projects & detailed design sheets for RCC, PSC, steel and composite bridges.
• Competent in 3D Modeling and preparing 2D drawings using Bentley MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of and project delivery in MicroStation is a must.
• Knowledge of and project delivery in AutoCAD is a must.
• Knowledge of and experience with Open Bridge Modeler (OBM) and/or Civil 3D is a plus.
• Infraworks/Navisworks experience is a plus.
• Experience with Revit on bridge projects is a plus.
• Data / document management system experience ProjectWise, BIM360, ACC.
• Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering in a BIM environment.
• Experience in detailing practices of North America/UK/Eurocodes/Australia/NZ/ME will be preferred.
• Should be a good team player.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) office suite.
