Software Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We seek a highly skilled Senior Software Developer Automation to drive the development, testing, deployment, and support of PC-based automation software in the EMS industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine qualification (MQ1 & MQ2, FAT & SAT), software integration with MES/ERP systems, and providing post-MQ2 customer support. You will lead innovative software solutions for industrial automation, ensuring standardization and best practices across the team.

Preferred candidate profile

• Develop, test, and deploy PC-based automation software for manufacturing systems.
• Design and implement Windows applications using VB.Net & C# within Visual Studio.
• Develop DAQ-based (NI/Advantech/Adlink) applications for real-time data acquisition and control.
• Work on motion control systems & vision system integration.
• Ensure seamless software integration with MES/ERP systems.
• Offer technical assistance for machine qualification (MQ1 & MQ2), including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) & Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

Technical Skills :

LabVIEW Development (Must)

Languages: VB.Net, C++, C#, python (added advantage)

Development Tools: Visual Studio

Database Management: MS SQL
