Designation : Senior DevOps/SysOps Engineer (Panelist)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of overall DevOps experience and at least 3 years of mandatory technical screening and assessment experience. The ideal candidate will lead the implementation of advanced DevOps practices while also playing a critical role as a panelist, conducting in-depth evaluations of candidates technical competencies. This position demands expertise across a variety of tools, cloud platforms, and methodologies, ensuring robust systems and high-caliber hiring standards.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Screening & Assessment (Primary Focus):
  
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of candidates' technical expertise in DevOps, cloud platforms, system architecture, CI/CD, and related domains.
• Develop and refine assessment criteria for technical interviews and evaluations.
• Collaborate with hiring teams to ensure the selection of top-tier technical talent.
• Provide detailed feedback on candidates strengths and improvement areas during the recruitment process.

• Version Control & Repository Management: Utilize tools like Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab for version control.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or similar tools. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate delivery.
• Configuration Management: Develop configuration management workflows using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to ensure consistent environments.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Build and manage containerized applications with Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates to design and deploy infrastructure.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring solutions such as Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK Stack. Configure dashboards and real-time logging systems.
• Cloud Platforms: Manage services and resources on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Troubleshoot networking components like TCP/IP, DNS, and iptables.
• Release Management: Streamline and optimize release management with tools like Harness, Octopus Deploy, or JFrog Artifactory.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:
• At least 8 years of overall DevOps experience across various tools and platforms.
• A minimum of 3 years of technical screening and assessment experience is mandatory.
• Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• DevOps Tools: Hands-on expertise in CI/CD tools, container orchestration systems, and IaC methodologies.
• Programming & Scripting: Advanced knowledge of Python, Java, Shell, or Bash scripting.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Security Awareness: Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Developer), or Azure DevOps Expert.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with database systems and package management tools.
