About the role:
As a Staff Engineer, SDET, you ll play a truly rewarding part in delivering great Tools and Automation Frameworks. You will be part of the team that gets requirements from all parts of the company. The Tools and Automation Frameworks improve efficiencies by replacing manual work, test and monitor components and raise alerts, integrate various processes and tools across teams.
Technologies used are Python, Java, Groovy, Javascript languages on various platforms. You ll collaborate daily in an agile and an extremely fast-paced development environment with a team of experienced engineers.
What you will get to do:
Design and develop tools and automation frameworks to improve efficiencies across the software development lifecycle including replacing manual work, testing of components, integration of tools across the organization.
Feasibility analysis on various ways of creating efficiencies with tools considering various constraints.
Technically lead and mentor a team of smart and experienced engineers.
Work in an agile development environment that includes - product owners, tech leads, operations.
Help in developing Test Automation framework scripts to ensure quality of mobile streaming applications.
Who we are looking for:
Must have:
9-10 years of experience of development of tools, automation frameworks and general scripting focusing on Python and/or Java.
Experience on a variety of platforms and languages.
Experience in wiring various systems together.
Needs to be adaptable to work across a range of programming languages and systems
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience (B.Tech/B.E/BCA/B.Sc)
Nice to have:
Selenium and Appium for UI automation.
Automation testing with a focus on Android or iOS technologies.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
