Job Description
- • Teach Physics: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in physics, ensuring that students grasp key concepts through clear explanations, practical demonstrations, and hands-on experiments.
- Create an Interactive Learning Environment: Use innovative teaching methods, including multimedia, virtual simulations, and real-world examples, to make abstract concepts more accessible and exciting.
- Mentorship & Support: Provide guidance and emotional support to students, helping them navigate the challenges of living in a residential school setting. Foster positive relationships with students to encourage academic and personal growth.
- Assessment & Feedback: Design and administer regular assessments (quizzes, tests, projects, lab reports) to evaluate student progress. Provide timely, constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and skills.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and developing their scientific thinking.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with fellow teachers, residential staff, and school leadership to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being and academic success.
- Parent Communication: Regularly communicate with parents about students' progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Extra-Curricular Engagement: Support or lead extracurricular activities related to science, such as science fairs, clubs, or academic competitions, to encourage further student engagement in the subject.
