Medical Technician- CRC1 Project

Brief Description about the Project 

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our research team at SJRI. The role involves supporting various research projects, including those focused on nutrition, public health, and health technology. The position encompasses responsibilities in handling technical aspects of studies such as longitudinal, interventional, observational, cohort studies, and randomized controlled trials.

Medical Technician

Preferred Qualifications:  B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field

Language :   English, Kannada, Hindi, South Indian Languages

Experience:  Minimum 1`year of experience working as a medical technician in a clinical or research setting

Last Day for Receiving Application:  18th January, 2025

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage the setup, installation, and configuration of equipment and devices.
• Perform measurements and procedures using medical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in clinical operations.
• Collect and process patient samples for laboratory analysis. 
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Perform quality control checks and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports, logs, and maintenance schedules.
• Supervise daily technical activities to ensure productivity.
• Stay updated on technological advancements and recommend upgrades.
• Conduct QA/QC daily.
• Get trained in all equipment of the Division
