Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Physics Teacher to join our IGCSE team. The successful candidate will inspire and educate students in the field of physics, fostering a deep understanding of scientific principles and inquiry-based learning.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards for secondary-level physics education.
- Teach fundamental concepts of physics, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics, and modern physics, among others, using a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to illustrate scientific concepts, promote inquiry-based learning, and develop students laboratory skills and scientific inquiry abilities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and experimentation, while emphasizing the importance of safety protocols in laboratory settings.
- Assess student learning and progress through formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, tests, laboratory reports, projects, and presentations, providing timely and constructive feedback to support student growth.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying academic abilities, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds, and provide additional support or enrichment as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary connections and integrate physics concepts with other subjects, fostering a holistic understanding of science and its real-world applications.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns related to physics education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, stay updated on current trends and research in physics education, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the science curriculum.

Requirements
Required Qualifications - Masters Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed.
Required Skills - - Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines, with a commitment to following the schoolpolicies and procedures.
