Job Description
- The job responsibilities of a Senior Resident in General Medicine may include:
- Providing direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with various medical conditions
- Supervising junior residents and medical students, providing guidance and mentorship, and overseeing their patient care responsibilities
- Participating in research and academic activities, such as teaching medical students and presenting at conferences, to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge
- Managing and coordinating the care of patients with complex medical conditions, including those who require admission to the hospital or intensive care unit
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient history, examination findings, diagnosis, and treatment plans
