The Executive Quality Control is responsible for leading and managing the quality control department to ensure that products, processes, and services meet established quality standards. This role involves implementing and maintaining quality control processes, systems, and compliance. Key Responsibilities : Quality Control Management : Oversee the quality control department, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively. Quality Standards : Establish, implement, and maintain quality standards, processes, and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Compliance : Ensure that the organization complies with relevant quality standards and regulations, such as ISO, GMP, or industry-specific standards. Quality Audits : Plan and conduct quality audits to identify areas for improvement and maintain adherence to quality standards. Quality Control Systems : Implement and manage quality control systems, including the use of software tools for data analysis and reporting. Performance Metrics : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of quality control processes. Product/Process Inspections : Oversee product and process inspections to identify defects or non-conformities. Root Cause Analysis : Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality concerns. Training and Development : Provide training and development opportunities to quality control staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Documentation : Ensure that all quality control activities are well-documented and maintain records of inspections, audits, and quality-related data. Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement and take proactive steps to enhance quality control processes. Reporting : Generate reports on quality control performance and share findings with management and stakeholders.
