Role & responsibilities

• Teaching anatomy:Delivering lectures, leading laboratory sessions, and providing hands-on instruction on human anatomy to medical students.
• Cadaver dissection:Performing dissections on cadavers to demonstrate anatomical structures to students.
• Curriculum development:Creating and updating anatomy teaching materials, including visual aids, slides, and practical exercises.
• Research activities:Conducting research on anatomical variations, new imaging techniques, or the development of anatomical structures.
• Clinical applications:Applying anatomical knowledge to assist surgeons during procedures by identifying key landmarks and structures.
• Collaboration with clinicians:Working with other healthcare professionals, like surgeons and radiologists, to interpret anatomical findings in clinical contexts.
• Grant writing:Securing funding for research projects related to anatomy
• Publication of research findings:Writing scientific papers and presenting research findings at conferences.
• Staying updated:Keeping up with advancements in anatomical science through continuing education and literature reviews.
