Sri Sri Tattva - Senior Credit Controller (5-7 yrs)

About:

- As a Senior Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our company's credit control processes.

- Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective collection of outstanding debts while minimizing the risk of bad debts.

- You will work closely with the finance team to support cash flow management and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Management:

- Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures.

- Monitor and manage the company's credit risk by assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit information and credit limits.

Debt Collection:

- Oversee and manage the collection of overdue accounts, including the resolution of disputes and discrepancies.

- Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure timely payments.

- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers when necessary.

Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare and present regular reports on aged debt, collection activities, and credit risk exposure to senior management.

- Analyze customer payment trends and identify potential risks to develop proactive strategies.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to facilitate effective communication and resolution of credit issues.

- Provide excellent customer service while balancing the need to manage credit risk.

Team Leadership:

- Mentor and guide junior credit control staff, providing training and support as needed.

- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.

Compliance & Improvement:

- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to credit control and debt collection.

- Continuously evaluate and improve credit control processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's / master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Professional certification (e., ACA, ACCA) is a plus.

- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in credit control or a related financial role, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of credit management principles and debt collection processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
