Job Description
Sri Padmaraj Jewellers is looking for CAD Designer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- Creating Technical Drawings: Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software (eg, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) based on project requirements and specifications
- Drafting and Design: Collaborate with engineers, architects, or project managers to interpret concepts and sketches into precise, dimensioned drawings and designs
- Accuracy and Precision: Ensure that drawings are accurate, adhere to industry standards, and meet regulatory requirements
- Pay meticulous attention to dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications
- Modifications and Revisions: Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to drawings as projects evolve or to address any issues during the design process
- Technical Documentation: Generate bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and technical documentation to support manufacturing, construction, or procurement processes
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless project development and execution
- Software Proficiency: Stay current with CAD software updates and industry best practices
- Maintain proficiency in using various CAD tools and explore new software to improve efficiency and capabilities
- Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of CAD drawings and models
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design-related issues and challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed within budget constraints
