Role & responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth and profitability.
• Identify market opportunities and set short-term and long-term business goals.
• Monitor market trends and consumer preferences to adapt product offerings.

Operations Management

• Oversee production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Optimize supply chain, inventory management, and distribution channels.
• Implement cost control measures to improve margins.

Team Leadership

• Manage cross-functional teams, including production, packaging, sales, R&D, and logistics.
• Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and accountability.
• Ensure continuous training and development of staff.

Product Development & Quality Assurance

• Collaborate with the R&D team to innovate and launch new products.
• Maintain high standards of quality and food safety across all product lines.

Financial Management

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure timely compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to FSSAI and other food industry standards.
• Implement health and safety protocols within the factory and distribution network

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Food Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10-15 years of experience in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry, with a focus on sweets/namkeen.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and data-driven decision-making tools.
