Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance supervision, with a preference for those who have worked in the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of mechanical systems and ensuring the continuous operation of machinery in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of production equipment and machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly to avoid production delays.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure equipment is aligned with production schedules and operational needs.
• Oversee maintenance staff and allocate tasks to ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including details of inspections, repairs, and replacements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Ensure all mechanical systems and machinery comply with company standards and specifications.

Qualifications:

• Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance supervision, preferably in the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
• Proven experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery in a production environment.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance strategies and techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in the petrochemical, plastics, or rubber industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
