Sr. Executive Imports

Role & responsibilities

• Global Sourcing & Procurement of Industry Minerals, Metals & allied products.
• Bill Booking of import raw material.
• Checking of import documents such as invoice, packing list, BL draft, COO, Cover Letter, & knowledge of import LC formalities etc.
• New vendor Development domestic & international. Also responsible for Vendor Management and Vendor Payment.
• Formulating and floating RFQs & scrutinizing quotations on the basis of best possible cost. Negotiation for prices and other terms. like Payment Terms, Credit period etc.
• Managing lead time and taking care of follow-up with vendors for shipment schedules & shipping documents.
• Checking import tariffs & trade agreement for our products from different countries to get duties & other benefits.
• Shipment Bookings, freight negotiations etc. Liaising with CHA & shipping lines for the custom clearance of Import and export movement. Handling all custom clearance matters end to end.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate must have good experience in import related work , preferably from manufacturing background. Must possess good communication skills & capable of managing stressful situation effectively.
