Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced NoSQL DBA to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kafka Administration, ElasticSearch, and AWS, with a proven ability to design, maintain, and optimize NoSQL databases for high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Database Administration :

- Manage, monitor, and maintain NoSQL database systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.

- Handle database provisioning, patching, and version upgrades.

Kafka Administration :

- Set up, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters for real-time data processing.

- Monitor Kafka performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless data streaming.

ElasticSearch Management :

- Deploy, configure, and maintain ElasticSearch clusters for search and analytics applications.

- Optimize indexing, querying, and storage for enhanced performance.

Cloud Operations :

- Manage database instances on AWS and ensure optimal resource utilization.

- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-hosted databases.

Performance Tuning :

- Conduct performance analysis and fine-tune NoSQL databases to handle large-scale operations.

- Optimize schema design and indexing strategies to improve query performance.

Security and Compliance :

- Implement security measures to safeguard data, including access control and encryption.

- Ensure database compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

Collaboration :

- Work with development teams to design and implement database solutions.

- Provide guidance on best practices for database usage and query optimization.

Key Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).

- Expertise in Kafka Administration and ElasticSearch.

- Proficiency in AWS database services (e.g., DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift).

Database Management :

- In-depth knowledge of database architecture, replication, and clustering.

- Proficiency in database performance tuning and query optimization.

Cloud & DevOps :

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools is preferred.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in AWS or NoSQL technologies is a plus.

- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
