Database Specialist - NoSQL/SQL (5-8 yrs)

Position : Database Specialist (NoSQl | SQL)

Location : Navi Mumbai

Experience : 5+ years

Key Responsibilities :

- Database Management : Deploy, configure, manage, secure, patch, upgrade, and scale SQL & NoSQL databases on Kubernetes platforms or Virtual Machines.

- Performance Optimization : Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune SQL (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL (e.g., Redis, MongoDB) databases for high efficiency.

- Data Migration & Backup : Migrate data, ensure backups, and manage restorations.

- Disaster Recovery : Configure replication, DR site sync, and disaster recovery solutions for SQL & NoSQL databases.

- User & System Administration : Manage user accounts, start/stop database systems, and oversee database deployment.

Required Skills :

- Expertise in administration, configuration, and deployment of SQL databases like MariaDB Galera, MySQL Galera, and NoSQL databases like Redis, KeyDB, MongoDB, and CouchDB.

- Strong experience in performance tuning for both SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Proficiency in distributed relational and non-relational databases and clustering.

- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker for database management.

Requirements :

- Qualification : BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.

Mandatory Certifications :

- MongoDB/Redis/CouchDB certifications from MongoDB University, Redis University, or Couchbase.

- MariaDB or MySQL certifications from OEM.

- Domain Knowledge : Strong understanding of the banking and financial sector.
