Job Title: Business Development Manager - Medical Billing

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth initiatives for our medical billing and revenue cycle management services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in medical billing, and a proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and relationship management. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills, excellent communication, and a passion for driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients, including medical practices, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers, for medical billing and revenue cycle management services. Generate and follow up on leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company objectives, including expanding market presence and driving revenue growth in line with the company's vision.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and aligning our services to support their revenue cycle processes.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes within healthcare billing. Use these insights to adapt strategies and optimize our service offerings.
- Proposal Development & Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in line with company objectives.
- Collaboration with Operations Team: Work closely with the operations and billing teams to ensure a smooth transition for new clients, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction throughout the billing lifecycle.
- Reporting & Performance Metrics: Track sales metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and updates to senior management. Adjust strategies based on performance data and client feedback.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of business development or sales experience, with at least 2 years in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare services.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical billing processes, healthcare revenue cycle management, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and industry-specific compliance and regulatory standards (HIPAA).
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating new business, achieving sales targets, and building long-lasting client relationships within the healthcare or medical billing sector.
