Sharepoint Developer - SPFx (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

SharePoint Application Remediation :

- Redesign and migrate existing SharePoint sites and applications that are impacted by Microsoft's recent end-of-support for embedded code.

- Transition legacy SharePoint solutions to modern platforms, ensuring high performance and usability.

SPFx React Migration :

- Migrate SharePoint Designer code to SPFx React using script injection and other best practices to ensure an updated, seamless user experience.

- Implement SPFx React components and ensure compatibility with modern SharePoint environments.

Stakeholder & Team Management :

- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders to ensure expectations, deadlines, and deliverables are met.

- Manage offshore teams and collaborate to ensure smooth project execution, aligning with project timelines and goals.

SPFx Framework Expertise :

- Leverage the SPFx framework to redevelop site functionality, following Microsoft's best practices and ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

- Design and implement custom solutions using SPFx, ensuring they are compatible with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Designer and SPFx React.

- Strong experience in SPFx migration projects, specifically transitioning from legacy SharePoint solutions to modern SharePoint using SPFx and React.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in SPFx (SharePoint Framework) and React for building modern SharePoint web parts and extensions.

- Familiarity with script injection for SPFx React migration.

- Proficiency in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer, and other SharePoint technologies.

Communication Skills :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders and managing teams.

- Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable tasks and ensure smooth project delivery.

Project Management :

- Experience in managing offshore teams and coordinating cross-functional efforts to meet deadlines and objectives.

Previous Project Experience :

- Hands-on experience with SharePoint migration and remediation projects is highly preferred.

Bonus Skills :

- Knowledge of Power Automate, PowerApps, and Microsoft Teams integrations is a plus
