Senior Software Engineer 2

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and designing complete solutions that enhance and automate our business processes. This role involves analyzing existing manual workflows, developing strategies for automation, and leading projects from conception to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and Designing Automated Business Solutions: Develop comprehensive strategies to optimize and automate business processes.
• Analyzing Business Processes: Identify potential areas for automation within existing workflows.
• Developing Automation Concepts: Create solution approaches utilizing APIs, webhooks, and other relevant technologies.
• Creating Technical Specifications: Document requirements for development teams to facilitate the implementation of automation solutions.
• Project Management: Plan, steer, and monitor automation projects from start to finish.
• Coordinating with Development Teams: Collaborate with internal and external developers to implement technical solutions effectively.
• Evaluating Tools and Technologies: Select appropriate software and platforms for process automation.
• Training and Support: Convey new processes to affected employees and provide ongoing support.
• Quality Assurance: Review implemented solutions for efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Monitor the implemented process and optimize automated processes and adapt to changing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Completed studies in Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, with proven success in planning and implementing automation projects.
• Profound knowledge in the application of APIs, webhooks, and automation tools.
• Experience in creating technical documentation and conducting requirements analyses.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly.

Required Skills:

• Technical Understanding: In-depth knowledge of automation technologies and software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in Programming: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, WebFlux, Kafka, Postgres, and Redis.
• Project Management Skills: Experience in leading projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with automation platforms such as Zapier, n8n, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Data Management: Knowledge in databases and data processing.
• Soft Skills: Strong teamwork abilities, leadership qualities, initiative, and a customer-oriented approach
